Toronto July 22, 2024 Ontario Place Protectors’ hearing in the Superior Court of Justice went all day with OPP lawyer, Eric Gillespie, presenting in the morning, and Ontario’s Attorney General lawyer in the afternoon, the Honourable Justice Lisa Brownstone presiding.
Justice Brownstone requested the Crown get instructions from their ‘client’ to further extend their work stoppage until her decision was rendered. The government agreed to continue the stoppage until July 26th or until her decision came down, whichever came first.
