In a significant step forward for the local fight against Alzheimer’s disease, Stacey Eisenberg, a senior care expert and the compassionate owner of A Place At Home – North Austin, has been appointed to the 2024 Alzheimer’s Association: Capital of Texas Chapter Committee for the Williamson County Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Stacey brings her driven passion as a dementia advocate to the forefront of this crucial cause in the North Austin community.
Stacey’s commitment to the Alzheimer’s community is deeply personal. Known in the community for her tireless efforts and unwavering support for those affected by dementia, She brings a wealth of experience, empathy, and energy to the table. “I wanted to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Committee as a personal mission to make a real difference in the lives of those touched by this disease. After so many years of seeing the destructive nature of this disease on families and their loved ones, and knowing how close we are to a cure, I wanted to be able to help the Association lead the way to a world without Alzheimer’s and other dementias“, stated Eisenberg.
But Stacey’s contribution extends beyond committee involvement. With a deep-seated passion for education and support, She is also volunteering into the role of a Community Educator. This initiative aims to empower, educate, and unite the community in the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementias. Through workshops, seminars, and support groups, Stacey will share knowledge, offer resources, and inspire action towards understanding, care, and the pursuit of a cure. The battle against Alzheimer’s is a collective effort that requires the support and dedication of the entire community.
